well - good news and bad news. it's late so i think i'm just gonna jot some stuff down, regardless of coherence.
i went to get my driver's license renewed today - and found out it had been suspended for over 2 years!!! oh my - thank goodness i never got a ticket. i had no idea - so, it's gonna cost soo much money - i can't beleive it. i have to cancel on my plans on going to d.c. tomorrow. i'll have to cancel on a lot more stuff, too.
i heard from a few other people that the guy i asked out to the party last week has a history of going from one girlfriend to the other, and no one's really sure if he's still going out with this one girl or now. even if he's just broken up with her, he still talks to her all the time, about her all the time (ah ha, so that's who keryn is), i still am far too good than to settle being part of a pitching line-up.
there was another peace jam at the tea house tonight. again, it was so much fun. we had a crazy beat going on in the drum circle. i read some poetry along with hunter thompson and abbe hoffman. tom, simon and nick also read. natasha and melissa sketched. brandon, alex, nick, heather and dave played the drums.
i called my friend dan and asked him to come, since he lives close. i was happy he did. he said he likes my work and hearing me read. he said that he liked my hair straight. he was the same one who said a few weeks ago that i looked pretty wien i didn't wear my glasses. maybe this is the guy that i should have asked. geez, i've liked him since october - i just was never sure if he was interested. a group of us are going to see a friend in a play tomorrow. we'll see if anything worth mentioning happens.
i talked to nick most of the night after dan left. he's a music student. real nice guy. very handsome. very young. i think he's only 21 or 22. i'm 32. yikes. he's playing in an opera performance all weekend - his reason that he can't go to d.c. either. well, he asked me to come see his performance. i'd love too. he's really nice, and maybe he is only asking me as a friend. i never know. anyway - i guess for now i have nothing to worry about.
