i woke to the sound of jim's lawn mower this morning. man, he looked good.
he was so friendly and so nice. we talked for a bit. he apologized for not coming yesterday, but since it rained all day friday he was totally backed up. he was afraid that we'd be mad. i told him it was perfectly ok. i didn't tell him that i was afraid i scared him off - lol.
we talked some more, laughing at the fact that 13 years after high school we'd be standing on my lawn with him asking me where to put the bags of clippings.
he asked to come in and meet grandma. that is so cool. grandma said he talked to her for quite a while the night he called. she thinks he is very nice, and good looking, too. we laughed at our joke that we said we liked his equipment, and his mower wasn't bad at all ;)
he's coming over every saturday now. i'll be in new york next week but i guess i'll see him 2 weeks from now.
BONUS: i peeked out my window to see him load up his equipment. he got into the truck and took his shirt off before he pulled away --- mmmm, yea, baby.
i'm going to my sponsor's house in a few hours for a pure soul-food dinner: greens, fried chicken, ribs, corn bread and HOME MADE MACARONI & CHEESE!!! i love her, she is awesome.
