my first day

i went to my first NA meeting last night. was so nervous and scared and was tearful and shaky almost the whole time.
but it was one of the best nights of my life. i had never felt so accepted. i can't get over how wonderful it was to feel like i just got welcomed home. i wish i had more time to write about it but grandma and i have been cooking and cleaning all day for our dinner party for my friends, in honor of my friend who is in town from NYC.
i have lots to be grateful for and happy about. i know i am choosing the right path.
second day of being clean. i rule!!!!
