what a night tonight. and, i don't quite know what i mean by that exactly. jessica and i went to the rock hall for the summer concert series. three local bands, the all were frinds and all rocked supremely. the bands were 'this moment in black history' (if anyone wants to so a search for bim thomas' most bamous outfit, 'the bassholes,' you won't be dissappointed. then, 'viva caramel,' (searchable also), and "the perfect guy.'
we met jessica's new dating/friend jason. lot of friends were there too. it was sool to be right on the lake, in front of the rock hall, with the view of the skyline..
i was to meet jess and jayson at a lounge andby the time they got there i was out the door. niko was on the patio with a couple of guy friends having dinner.. i didn't even get to sip my water with a lemon AND a lime.
it was about time i got over to brenden's for a couple of birthday perties. i haven't been there in a lon, long time. mostly because brenden lives there and tom is usually over; both the nicest guys i've met in a very long time.
the rest of the peaceful group of people also greeted me with lots of hugs, asking hehre i've been. brenden said, yes, i've missed you. tom asked me to sit nest to him. b sat in his chair by the doorway of the living room. t was over by the couch sitting on the floor. most in the circle in the living room had a drum for the drum circle, including brenden. tom didn't care for one, and we talked.
we ran into each other at the fair a while after i read my poems. we spent a lot of the evening talking on a raised curb.
i have to finish this tomorrow,,, i am sooooo tired
