looking back and forth
4:32 a.m. - 03.06.03
nice surprise i forgot to mention on tuesday. about 4 p.m. i got a call from my old college sis kate. i haven't seen her in 14 months. she was in my neighborhood and we met for a few hours. it was SO great to see her. man, we've been friends for 14 years. she lived next door. she always went to class late with a giant plastic cup full of diet coke and a salem light 100. always. she is now an attorney and recently happily divorced.
i came home and checked my email - and lo and behold there was another blast from the past - out of the blue i got an email from my friend nate. he was surfing the allumni site.
i'm going on a mini vacation tonight. very mini. jessica and i are heading to the next city to see some bands. we're geting a cheap motel room and we are going to pretend that we are somewhere far away and totaly jam out to some detroit-flavored rock. thelma and louise ain't got nuthin' on us;)
