i'm going over to ken's in a couple of hours. we are inches away from completing an order to merchandise our client's art work. the retailer wants to place an order, and the artist will have the designs for the coffee cups and magnets ready for me to pick up by tomorrow. if we bust ass on this we can possibly get some of his stuff sold at the gift shop by christmas.
ken invited over a few other guys, too. abe should have our business cards ready, mike is helping us with the website, rayan is a film maker, mike will be there (the one i kissed @ halloween) and so will tim, ken's roommate.
i'm excited about getting some work done tonight, but i'm also excited about having fun, too. all of these art boys are tons of fun and VERY easy on the eyes. ken's serving morrocan chicken and couscous. he's got wine and beer. man, ARE we going to get any work done? actually, i'm sure we will. whenever all of us get together anyway we always discuss our art and how we can promote it.
this is SO much more fun than working with the 'corporates' at the magazine. plus, the 'attractive' factor is much higher - lol. i love art boys!
