just listening to some republican discussing their new found intrest in preserving african american history and thier future.
of course this comes after the trent lott thing and the bright early morning of the election season.
i am most happy that they will preserve fredrick douglas' house.
the story also said that the party wants to get the message across that they are reaching to the blacks. but, finding it hard with no black congressmen and very little black staff. therefore, the are 'active inlooking to fill those roles'. they want to hire more blacks and that is their goal.
hey, wasn't there a big march on the white house when the supreme court heard the affirmative action hearings??? they are doing the exact same theing they say they so dispise.
