a memory that came to life
3:54 p.m. - 2002-04-15
my memory has come back to life. the guy from college and i have been emailing. we talked on the phone on thursday - his voice sounded exactly the same. i felt as if i was 19 in the summer talking to him on the phone. it was cool. i can't remember the last time someone randomly fearched and found me from 12 years later. i really didn't think i'd forget. but some scenes were hazy - and others, i swore were just reruns of the event fabricated and extended in my dreams. like the walk i took with him on the second - last night. i thought that was a dream but he just asked me today if i remembered it. at least someone is validating my past these days - lol.
what else have i been doing? listening to a lot of music and public radio. the jews and the palestinians and jenin, even the christian church is held hostage - both there and here. we are on a 'peace mission' over there while we are waging our own money-making war. just trying to make sense of it all and to put it all into words.
